My education at BCIT has helped me share the stories of everyday people. I have become proficient in web, radio, and TV writing, enabling me to craft news that viewers can understand. My skills include Camera operation, WordPress site operation, Creative Cloud efficiency, interviewing and communicative abilities.
Skills
In my various lines of work, I have grown to become a strong leader, creating team structure by supporting my group within every project. The lead I take has also allowed me to expand my communication skills with strangers and colleagues alike. Creating trust and enforcing stability when problems or conflicts arise. Lastly, my time is important, and so is yours. I use my time management skills to stay on track and make sure nothing is turned in late!
Internship Experience
Peliplat
My time at Peliplat has taught me how to candidly. I learned to expand on my writing ideas and create in-depth articles about movies and TV shows. I contributed ideas to weekly meetings and collaborated frequently with my colleagues. My articles would be featured on the company website each week.3
Canada Wide Media
At Canada Wide Media, I learned how to fact-check articles, reaching out to each interviewee and confirming their information was correct. Created fact-lists, found instagram handles and docs including information on upcoming events. I wrote an article for BC Business and collaborated in weekly meetings.
